Blantyre Community Committee took another massive step forward today in organising this year’s Blantyre Festive Switch on and market by announcing they’re taking bookings from today (Thursday 10th September 2015) for the Festive Market. The market, and indeed the whole festive event promises to be larger than ever, with more entertainment, children’s activities and market vendors.
This will be the fourth annual event the Committee have organised, with growing attendance each year. Building on the success of the Summer gala day, a Committee spokesperson added, “We hope to get as many organisations involved in this years event as possible. Market stalls are expected to again be popular and a core team of volunteers are already working behind the scenes, to ensure the event is as memorable, safe and exciting as possible for everybody”
