A workman’s van was targeted last night by thieves in Church Street, Low Blantyre.
Sometime, between midnight and 7am in the early hours of Friday 30th November 2018, unknown person or persons broke into van parked in the street. A quantity of tools were taken.
Police were called this morning, but due to weather, there was not much that could be done in terms of forensics.
It seems thieves were out in force last night, in several streets (covered by other stories today). The re-emergence of thieves prowling at night is highly disappointing after things appeared to have been quiet of late.
