A man and woman have now been arrested in connection with the robbery of a woman at Auchinraith Roundabout, HighBlantyre.
The pair have been taken into custody after the 41-year-old was targeted yesterday afternoon.
Local eyewitnesses reported a police presence near to a taped off area of woodland near Parkville Drive throughout the day and evening yesterday as officers guarded the street for several hours.
The tape and police are now gone.
