Regen:FX Youth Trust and Liber8 Lanarkshire are leading on a new community-based mental health service for young people called GoTo. The service is the first of its kind and will help young people who are experiencing mild mental health issues. (For 14 – 18 year olds)
The project uses a blend of Youth Work, Counselling and Groupwork to help young people navigate through life’s ups and downs or ‘blips’.
GoTo can offer 1 to 1 Support, Groupwork Therapy and Activities to help reduce isolation and positive distractions including Youth Leadership and Peer Mentoring programmes to develop confidence and self-esteem.
Next Groups start :Therapeutic Group – 17 March Peer Mentoring – 18 March Youth Leadership – 2 June
The excellent service is supported by Youth Family & Community Learning, Terminal One and HIPY. This is a pilot project until December 2020 funded by Aspiring Communities Fund and the European Social Fund.
