Water Ingress Problems – The recent heavy rains in February have taken their toll on one old building in Blantyre. Rain has damaged the ceiling at the front entrance to Blantyre Old Parish Church in High Blantyre.
The main entrance to the church is currently closed off, so the congregation has to meantime use the side entrance, thankfully meaning the church is still open.
Advice has been sought for the B-listed building and the church is working with experts to find solutions. Hopefully with drier weather, the work can be done quickly. Here’s hoping things can get back to normal soon.
