Today, Saturday 4th April 2020, was supposed to be the start of a much anticipated 2 week Easter School Holiday break and many families had made plans. Plans that are now cancelled.
Lots of families had holidays booked, with arrangements to go away and some even lucky enough to be flying off to foreign shores. All cancelled.
Of course, the Covid19 pandemic has affected almost all aspects of our lives, and holiday plans for lots of people around the world have had to be put on hold or cancelled. Last week saw people on social media post pictures of beaches to try to lift spirits.
Today, we’re asking people who had travel plans, to post a photo of where they planned to be this Easter break. No words. No explanations. Just a photo.
There will be other times for holidays and it’ll be all the more sweeter when you eventually get there! It’s a small sacrifice we need to make. For now, its much more important to stay home, protect Scottish NHS and save lives.
