Grass Parks Getting Cut Again

It’s been a long time coming, but South Lanarkshire Council have resumed the cutting of grass in public spaces.

Maintenance of council owned grassparks had been suspended during the Covid crisis so it’s a welcome sight to see parks being attended to again. Take for example this photo of Stonefield Public Park earlier today.

The council have their work cut out, not just in parks but in all council owned fields and outdoor spaces, between shops, outside their care homes and sheltered housing and the like. Not to mention hedges to be cut too.

Blantyre was needing a tidy up in recent weeks. Glad this is being done.
