It’s with utmost sadness we learn this evening of the sad passing of Paul Cornes.
Paul passed away peacefully last night, Friday, 21st August 2020 after a short illness. He was 66 years old. Paul was well known as a hard working business man who was brought up in Hamilton and then lived in Blantyre for over 40 years. Perhaps best known for running the successful business Cornes DIY in Burnbank. During the last 20 years or so, he worked in the East Kilbride shop with his brother.
He is sorely missed by his wife Josephine, Yvonne and Jayden. Everybody who knew Paul loved him dearly, a sentiment we’re sure the family will agree.
Our thoughts go out to all his family and friends at this sad and difficult time. Rest In Peace.
