With the main Halfway to Blantyre road flooded, vehicles have taken to backroads to get home tonight, Thursday 27 August 2020.
This was the busy scene at Milheugh on the Pech Brae (leading up to Bardykes Road) at the Calder. Photo taken just after 6.30pm. Car coming down at the same time as many cars trying to get up, causing some tailbacks and congestion.
Another road to avoid this wet and busy evening!
