Just about the last thing 2020 needs, is an extra hour added….but thats what’s happening this weekend.
The clocks go back this Saturday night into Sunday morning. At 2am on Sunday 25 October 2020, British summer time (BST) comes to an end, the country puts the clocks back an hour to 1am, and we go back to observing Greenwich mean time (GMT).
It means it will be dark each evening by 5pm.The clocks going back is usually a bonanza for the entertainment and hospitality industry with an extra hour. Not this year with pubs closed due to covid.
