Blantyre Official Coronavirus Group (BOCS) was launched just before lockdown, aiming to keep Blantyre informed about the covid pandemic. It grew quickly into a remarkable page of support by dedicated, popular moderators and proved to be a vital service for our community during the last 9 months. Whats The Queue Like started off as a service for people in Blantyre to check the live status of queues in Blantyre during lockdown, but grew to include other towns. Admittedly, it’s little used given the restrictions lifted, but with lockdowns just around the corner again, a reminder this service is still there. The group will close once the pandemic is over. Open to sellers only who are Blantyre based, there’s an array of vendors with their own products, goods and services if you want to keep your shopping local.
