A huge well done and shout to Hillhouse volunteer group “Supporting our Community” who brightened up dinnertime for a lot of elderly residents in Blantyre last night!
The group were offered a donation from a local takeaway and promptly used it to help the sheltered housing residents at Kirkton, High Blantyre. Residents last night, Friday 27 November received a surprise of fish, sausage and scampi suppers just after 4.30pm.
The generous surprise was well received by all and got the weekend off to a great start!
