A story of success next! Well done to James Skinner from 3rd Blantyre Scout Group, who was presented with an Award of Merit on Saturday there.
The presentation was done by District Commissioner Allan Reddick. Group Scout Leader, Chris McCrory was also on hand to congratulate James with a socially distanced hand shake. James received his Award in recognition of outstanding service.
The award implies keen, conscientious, imaginative and dedicated service over a sustained period of at least 12 years. James has been a member of the group since he was just 8 years old! He is a Cub and Explorer leader and is a cornerstone of the group’s work at all sections, working hard to ensure the group constantly moves forward and achieves success.
