It is with the utmost sadness we learned today of the sad passing of local youth, Liam Kirkpatrick.
The family have contacted us confirming that he passed away on Wednesday, 10th February 2021. He was just 18 years old.
Born in October 2002, Liam was a Blantyre lad from Waverley Terrace, High Blantyre. The family were devastated to learn the news, particularly his elderly Gran Violet ( whom he lived with ) and his sister Caitlin. News was especially hard for his friends too.
Liam’s Uncle Andy added, “We’re still all in shock and heartbroken”
