The weather has taken a turn for the worse this week, with cold weather arriving.
This morning, (Thursday 21st October) people had to scrape some ice off the car windscreens as temperatures just before the school run were just above freezing.
A reminder to get our vehicles winter ready and look out some de-icer! Temperatures will pick up a little in the coming days. Saturday will be cloudy and windy with showers or patchy spells of light rain. Heavy rain will develop from the west later on in the day.
Sunday will continue windy with showers or spells of rain, these possibly heavy at times. Monday will be a similar day, continuing windy with showers or spells of rain. However it looks to turn drier later on in the day.
