Blantyre youngster, Jacob Naismith (13) has won his first ever belt in boxing!
The talented lad boxes for O’Neils BC and recently travelled down to Penrith with his teammates and coaches for the MTK Lord Lonsdale Boxcup 2021, a tournament which spans three days.
Jacob fought in the final on Sunday 24th October 2021 to defend his title from 2019 and won with a unanimous decision. A big thank you goes to his coaches, team, friends and his proud family for their continued support.
His mother Leanne told us, “We are really proud of Jacob’s hard work and dedication to sports.”
