Geminid meteor shower

Scotland is expected to be treated to a spectacular meteor shower tomorrow night and all we need is some clear skies to see them!

The Geminid shooting stars will arrive on Monday night with over 100 meteors an hour at its peak, lasting into Tuesday morning. Geminids are very bright, moderately fast, and are unusual in being multi-coloured.

You should be able to see the spectacle with the naked eye, with no need for telescopes or binoculars.
