Congratulations go out today Saturday 8th March to Kirkton Cobras Basketball team.
The U14s did VERY well today whilst hosting Perth Phoenix at John Ogilvie High School.Today’s game was the second U14s friendly in what will be a series of friendlies for the U14s since the end of the conference season.
Perth Phoenix are another National League level opposition who put up a good opposition.
A spokesperson for Kirkon Cobras added, “Our U14s continued with our usual high pressure defence which we have worked on a lot in training and games. This forced Phoenix into making turnovers which we capitalised on really well.”
“Our great teamwork, quick ball movement and great movement off the ball helped us score great baskets to begin building up a good lead. A lead in which we never lost for the whole game.”
Today’s win means the U14s go 2 wins from 2 against National League level opposition, which definitely shows the talent all of the boys have! Well done!
