The sun and hot temperatures didn’t suit everybody this week! When Rebecca turned up at her bakery in High Blantyre, she found that 250 french fancies, which were packaged ready to be sold, had melted!
Rebecaa posted a message showing her despair on social media for the cost of losing stock like this to a small bakery can be significant. However, ever the entreprenuer, she decided to sell them off for a huge discounted price.
The community rallied today, and then some! Posting on social media ealrier today, she added in delight, “The melted fancies sold out within 2 hours 38 minutes!”
