Motorists travelling between Blantyre and Hamilton are being advised of a three-day road closure which begins today, Monday 12th October 2026.
South Lanarkshire Council has confirmed that a section of Hillhouse Road in Hamilton, between Pollock Avenue and the Pollock Precinct car park, will be closed until Wednesday 14th October.
The closure is necessary to allow carriageway machine patching works to take place, repairing sections of the road surface.
