After the wonderful Old Parish Church fete last Saturday at High Blantyre, the final amount raised has now been counted. Incredibly, an astonishing £3,180 was raised m the largest figure yet for the Church.
Church Spokesperson Billy Gallacher said, “I can’t thank everyone involved enough. I want to thank all involved including our main sponsor James Mortimer and of course the fabulous Scott Fletcher, a Blantyre boy himself for being a superb celebrity on the day, mingling with the crowds and crowning our gala queen.”
