Contractors have been busy and have already demolished close to three quarters of the properties, as our picture from earlier today shows. A brand new view is emerging as the skyline opens up, with green trees and hills on the horizon visible from the ASDA car park. For the first time the sports centre can be seen from the end of Craig Street!
The remaining part is scheduled for imminent demolition once further salvage and strip-out work are complete.
