It’s been scaffolded and is approaching its finished height, with all the decorative facing work now planned for the next fortnight. All being well, the memorial should be finished at the end of October leaving some time for soft landscaping around it, before the 11th November, remembrance day.
The rebuild of this Blantyre Memorial was necessary due to its deteriorated condition. The work is funded by a grant.
