Local lad Callum Steele is raising money for local charity, The Haven.
In July 2018, Callum’s dad, Kenny Steele was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal Cancer. Wanting to give something back, Callum has decided to run the SLLC Outdoor Mud Madness 5k with a friend, which takes place at Chatelherault, on 6th October 2019.
The event involves mud runs, water slides, obstacles and even a dip in the River Avon!
Callum has created a just Giving page to raise funds for the Haven, adding, “The Haven has helped my family a lot. I want to raise some money doing something I enjoy so other people can benefit from the support they offer.”
We know his family will be very, very proud as they cheer him on. Good luck Callum, we’ve donated something to your fundraiser this evening.
