Demolition of Blantyre LIDL superstore is underway. Contractors Central Demolition are making good progress and judging from these photos the whole store will be down in no time at all.
No time has been wasted from the closure of the recent store on 16th March with plans to commence the rebuilding of the brand new LIDL store on the same plot. Staff jobs were saved deployed to other stores. The new store is scheduled to open in Springtime 2025.
