Blantyre Hillwalking Club’s next coach outing will be to the East Lothian coast, leaving from Blantyre Miners Welfare at 8am on Saturday 9th November. Here’s the details if you’re interested in joining them!
The main start point will be Aberlady, and the plan will be to walk to North Berwick. This will be a 17km walk over varied terrain. A shorter route of 11km from Gullane will also be available. Quick walkers will be able to add on an ascent of North Berwick Law, which is a fine viewpoint on clear days. The bus costs £20 and is open to all who would like to attend. A change of clothes etc can be left on the bus. Return to Blantyre will be at around 8pm the same evening.
