Dance Elite, a local dance school based in Cambuslang, has recently achieved a significant milestone: 30 of its pupils have qualified to represent Scotland at the prestigious Dance World Cup 2025.!!

This international competition is one of the most celebrated events in the dance world, bringing together participants from over 60 countries. The dancers, aged 5 to 22 have worked tirelessly, dedicating countless hours to perfecting their routines. This achievement is a testament to their talent, determination, and the exceptional coaching at Dance Elite.

Amy McCabe, Owner & principal teacher and owner at Dance Elite Academy told Blantyre Telegraph, “We believe this is a story that highlights not only the remarkable achievements of these young dancers but also the vibrant cultural and artistic spirit of our community.”

The team is now preparing for the journey ahead, and they are keen to showcase their talent on the global stage while proudly representing Cambuslang and Scotland.

We’ll always support the success and hard work of organisations in and around this area. Well done to all the dancers, the support from their families and from the local community.
