The Olive Music Lounge on Broompark Road have announced a temporary closure tonight on social media. In a statement online, their Facebook page has been updated with:
“Hi everyone absolutely gutted to be writing this post. As of Monday 16th December The Olive Music Lounge will be closed until further notice. This couldn’t happen at a worse time. We are working behind the scenes to try and resolve the issues that have arisen. I will be in contact with the acts booked in due course . If you have bought tickets for the Brian James Leys Motown show or the Hogmanay party we will refund your ticket money a member of staff will be in Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , night between 6pm till 8pm . We at the Olive, would like to thank all staff our regulars and visitors who visited through out the year where great memories were made . Hopefully we will be back early 2025 updates to follow , Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused .”
