There’s a new player in town! Rivals Gym is opening at Springwells Neighbourhood Hall, Blantyre.
The business has had an incredible response with over 80 people registering their interest in their Jiu-Jitsu programme launching at the end of the month.
Springwell Neighbourhood hall had recently fallen into dereliction, uncared for by South Lanarkshire Council and left as an unused community building, a far cry from its glory days.
Along comes Rivals Jiu Jitsu and the fortunes of the building are on the up! Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that focuses on ground fighting, submission holds, and leverage over strength. It’s known as “the gentle art” because it teaches you how to defend yourself without striking Whether you’re a Total Beginner or experienced grappler, Rivals No-gi Jiu-Jitsu in Blantyre offers expert training in a respectful, ego-free space.
