It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the sad passing of local woman, Janet Dickson.
Janet’s son William told us, “We have to tell you all that our amazing wee mum, Janet, passed away last Monday, the 25th of August, peacefully in her bed at the Lornebank Nursing Home. We’re all gutted and grieving, but in the far too short time we were with her, she showed us how to keep our heads high and keep going, and that’s what we’re going to do.”
For those wishing to pay their respects, Janet will be laid to rest on Wednesday the 17th of September, with the service at 10am at the South Lanarkshire Crematorium before everybody moves on to Priestfield Cemetery at 11am.
