Members and visitors are warmly invited along to the Opening of the Green 2026 at Blantyre Bowling Club this Saturday 18th April.
The traditional season opener begins at 2:00pm, with the procession taking place at 3:00pm, marking the official start of another year on the green. It’s always a great afternoon bringing together players, supporters and the local community to celebrate the return of outdoor bowls in Blantyre.
Whether you’re a long-time member, thinking about taking up bowls, or simply fancy popping along to support a well-loved local club, you’ll be made very welcome.
