Toys Gifted to Blantyre Children

All sales from Blantyre Telegraph’s Newspaper in November and December are going either directly or indirectly to help Blantyre children this festive season. We can’t think of a more worthy cause and a massive thank you to the kind people of Blantyre who have bought a £1 Blantyre Telegraph either in the shops or downloaded it online, who made this possible.

Tomorrow, we’ll be handing in £160 worth of brand new toys for children aged between 6 months and 10 years, into the Royal Bank of Scotland. This gift is for their campaign to assist underprivileged children in and around the Blantyre area, which we were shocked to learn, there are many of.

Every child, no matter their background or circumstance, deserves a brand new Christmas gift. We hope this has helped put a smile on some little faces and of course the bank are looking for further toys, if you would like to help.
