Exclusive: Blantyre Summer Parade

The Blantyre Summer Colours Parade will be taking place again this year on Saturday 9th July 2016. FREE and open to everybody of all ages,balloons and flags will be handed out. Come along wearing something colourful and join HUNDREDS of people walking down to the Village from the Miners Welfare to join the Blantyre Gala Day festivities at David Livingstone Centre

Meet at 11am, leave promptly at 11.15am, the walk, accompanied by music should only take about 15 minutes. Its our traditional way of getting the Gala off to a flying start!
