A man living at Hunthill Road had his car set on fire by lowlifes last night.
Around 01:54 during the early hours of Monday 21 October 2019, two men approached a parked care and without any provoking, set it on fire.
The owner told us, “Luckily we have the men on our CCTV and also have the police investigating the incident. We have also managed to acquire further CCTV footage from surrounding buildings, pubs and the care-home. The video evidence is being sent off to specialists for enhancements, then we will be able to identify the men who were involved. We also have forensics checking the car over for finger prints due to one of the men appearing to be touching the petrol cap and also the front bumper area. “
If anyone has any information or has seen two men in the Blantyre area in the early hours of this morning (2am) then please contact police.
A substantial cash reward is being offered for information that leads the owner to the men that destroyed the car . Please share this post to help catch these low life’s.
