Parking charges could once again return to South Lanarkshire in April.
As Scotland heads back to some sort of normality, it’s been a year since the council stopped on street and carpark charges. Councillors are set to meet next week to discuss.
We hope they use the opportunity to consider what can be done to encourage shoppers back to quiet shopping centres. A further review of parking in Lanark, Cambuslang, Rutherglen, Strathaven, Blantyre, Larkhall, Biggar and Carluke will also take place.
