Amazing fundraising efforts by the staff of local ASDA stores.
37 members of staff from Coatbridge, Blantyre and Motherwell stores raised more than £6,000 for the Asda Tickled Pink campaign, which funds world-class research and life-changing support.
The funds were raised through a sponsored walk, which saw attendees walk eight miles covering two laps of Strathclyde Park and Motherwell.
Community Champion Ann Binks, from the Asda Coatbridge store, added: “The good auld Scottish weather stayed dry to let everyone complete the two-hour trek around the park.“
“We’re continuing to hold events in store throughout the rest of the month and are very much looking forward to raising more funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
