Scotland could see “absolutely epic” displays of the Northern Lights on Friday based on new weather reports.
Meteorological data and cloud cover information indicates that certain parts of Scotland may see the night sky lit up in dazzling displays of colour, seen by the naked eye.
Here’s hoping to catch a glimpse of the aurora borealis, while magnetic field readings are also strong. But be warned , those of us in built up areas, may find it difficult or frustrating to see the lightshow properly due to light pollution.
