It’s been a VERY warm day today, as you’ll have gathered by now.
Temperatures in Blantyre hit 25 degrees in High Blantyre according to a local weather station and as we ease into Saturday evening, things are cooling down (thankfully), just a little. People have been looking for ways to cool down, including dips in streams and finding some shade. Yesterday, in East Kilbride these kids made use of the burst water main, which Scottish Water are now currently fixing on Murray Road.
Rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast in the coming days, not just quite as hot….and don’t forget there’s another chance to see the northern lights tonight!
