We don’t usually put birthdays up on the main page, having a separate group for that, but sometimes special birthdays come along which needs celebrated far and wide.
Happy 90th birthday goes out to local man, Davie Fotheringham today, Thursday 19th September. His daughter told us, “He is still working as a school crossing patrol (lollipop man to the oldies) at Afton Gardens, High Blantyre and he will be working as usual on Thursday.”
We’ve arranged a wee gift for Davie and will be in touch.
