This Thursday, Calderside Academy received twelve new laptops, the initial delivery of an ongoing campaign supported by Agnews Family Shopper and Blantyre Telegraph. The donation addresses equipment shortages, enhancing student access to technology. Head teacher Ms. Calder expressed gratitude, emphasizing the positive impact on education amid budget cuts. The campaign continues for further support.
The TACT Hall in Coatshill, Blantyre, is experiencing revitalization thanks to a dedicated new committee and increased activities. Anticipating a successful community asset transfer, the hall’s management received a much-needed laptop for bookings, funded by the Supporters Group. Community donations will be shared soon, highlighting ongoing support efforts.
