South Lanarkhire Schools closed on Thursday

All Primary and Secondary Schools in South Lanarkshire will be closed on Thursday, 7th May, for an in-service day. Students are scheduled to return on Friday, 8th May.

Two Top performing Blantyre Schools

The Sunday Times has released its rankings of the best schools in Scotland, based on submissions from schools regarding their reading, writing, numeracy, and listening-and-talking competencies. Blantyre boasts two top ten schools in South Lanarkshire: St Joseph’s Primary at third and St Blane’s Primary at tenth, marking a significant achievement.

Careers Advice at Calderside Academy

S2 pupils at Calderside Academy are selecting their subjects for the remaining school years. On February 20th, our organization joined other businesses to provide careers advice to 199 students.
