Year 1 Level 7 students at the University of the West of Scotland completed their final term this week. They are now preparing for a busy 12-week placement with the Scottish Ambulance Service and other partners. Wishing them success, they are expected to return refreshed for Year 2 in September.

St Joseph’s Primary Pupils win’s MP’s Short Story Competition
Jaxon Mansfield from St Joseph’s Primary School won Michael Shanks MP’s Short Story competition with his entry, ‘John the Irn Bru Hero.’ The event, held at Rutherglen Library on World Book Day, attracted over 300 submissions from 11 schools, showcasing the creativity and writing skills of P6 and P7 students.
Careers Advice at Calderside Academy
S2 pupils at Calderside Academy are selecting their subjects for the remaining school years. On February 20th, our organization joined other businesses to provide careers advice to 199 students.
