This legislation makes it illegal to operate or participate in greyhound racing, closing Scotland’s last racing track in Fife. Driverless Subway Trains coming to Glasgow
In 2026, Glasgow’s subway will introduce driverless trains, enhancing its operations. With around 13 million annual users, the modernization includes new trains and renovated stations. SPT’s transport director confirmed the project is nearing completion, although some staff may still be needed post-launch, expected after Summer 2026.
