A huge well done to the Explorer Scouts from 3rd Blantyre Scout Group, based in High Blantyre, who successfully completed their King’s Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Gold expedition last weekend!
The young people took on an impressive four-day, three-night expedition across the Scottish countryside, putting their navigation and outdoor skills to the test while wild camping each night.
It was a challenging adventure requiring plenty of determination, teamwork and resilience, with the Explorers supporting each other throughout the journey.

Reaching this stage of the King’s Scout Award and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award is a fantastic achievement and reflects the hard work, preparation and commitment of these young people.
