The timing may not be great given the lead up to Christmas, but parts of Argyle Street in Glasgow are to close until 15th December.
The street will be closed from Brown Street to York Street until then to allow for construction on Argyle Street West Avenue. Improvements are being made including footpaths which will be wider, adding street furniture and trees.
This comes as continuation of Glasgow’s Avenues Project making the city more environmentally friendly efficient, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. An artists impression is shown.
