School Surprise
We’ve been busy last week making further awards to the Community, using Blantyre Telegraph Supporters Subscriptions. Thank you once again for all readers who are lending their monthly continued support. As always 100% goes entirely to the community.
When we learned that Calderside Academy are hosting a Halloween party at the end of the month for all their S1 and S2 pupils, we jumped into action and wanted to help. We bought and provided 250 Premium new Glow-sticks for the pupils.
They’re excellent quality and battery operated (provided already inside them). Made from soft foam about 500mm long, they change colour with a switch. We’ve contacted teacher, Mr Smyth to let him know and dropped them off at the school office last week. These will be freely given out and we’re sure will help make the spooky party sparkle! Pupils can buy tickets for the party at registration.
