Festive Bin Collection Times

As we go into Christmas week, remember Monday and Tuesday bin collections will be carried out as normal this week and next week.

No bin collections on Wed 25 Dec, Thu 26 Dec, Wed 1 Jan

Changes to collection days:

• Mon and Tue collections remain the same

• Collections from Wed-Fri (Christmas week) will be 2 days later

• Collections from Wed-Fri (New Year week) will be 1 day later

• Normal collections resume Mon 6 Jan 2025

Burgundy bins

Bulk uplifts

Last: Fri 20 Dec. Resumes Mon 6 Jan.

Disposal of real Christmas trees

• Put your tree out with the burgundy bin (if you have one) on your normal collection day between 6 – 17 Jan

• If you don’t have a burgundy bin, book a free garden waste uplift between 27 Dec – 10 Jan

• You can also drop it off at your nearest HWRC

• Trees being uplifted must be cut into 5ft sections and tied together
