High Blantyre Primary School have launched a new reading initiative within the community.
Last Thursday (16th January) High Blantyre Primary Schools ‘Reading Pupil Voice Group’ delivered 3 of their new Community Book Boxes to Carrigans. The boxes were presented to Connor Carrigan by the group and are now available for use.
HBPS have already achieved their Bronze and Silver Reading Schools Awards and now working towards their Gold Award.
They want to spread the message about how important reading for pleasure is throughout the local community. The boxes contain books for adults and for children of all ages. Please make use of the HBPS Community Book Boxes the next time you visit Carrigans!
