The worst has passed and Storm Éowyn is now slowly starting to move off, away from Central Belt.
Though still very windy, gusts are expected to reduce through this evening, Friday 24th January, most noticeably after 10pm.
As people assess the storm aftermath, tomorrow will be windy, but less so than tonight. There will be a mix of sunny spells, variable cloud and scattered, blustery showers moving in from the west, wintry over the hills. Remaining cold.
