A storm is coming to Scotland this Friday and now upgraded to amber for Central Scotland.
Storm Eowyn is expected to bring widespread disruption. The amber warning runs from 06:00 to 21:00 on Friday 24th January and covers the south and most of central Scotland. However, strong winds and heavy rain is expected on Thursday night.
This warning is accompanied by a Yellow weather warning for wind, which will be in place from 12am on Friday 24 until 3pm on Saturday 25 January. Stay safe. Time to batten down the hatches!
