Search for Missing Connor Rowan: Community Rallies Together

A huge effort continues today to find missing schoolboy, Connor Rowan with the search now into a second day.

Connor, aged 15 has been missing since 3.30pm yesterday, Tuesday 21st January 2025. He was seen outside Hamilton Grammar School at that time and yesterday evening, spotted in Blantyre near the skate park in Stonefield Public Park.

Volunteers have this evening organised into search parties (pictured), congregating at Blantyre Victoria Football Club , Forrest Street, Blantyre. Over 80 volunteers are being deployed in a strategic manner to cover as large an area as possible. Coverage is Blantyre, Hamilton, cars and walking teams. The search includes trained dogs and drones.

The search party could still do with more people. If you can spare some time to help, please make your way to the Blantyre Vics. There is sensible parking and hot teas and coffees are available for those been out searching.

As the community rallies, we’ve received messages today from concerned people asking for updates.

Connor described as white male, 5ft 3in, slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a white shirt, black trousers, black jacket, black shoes and fingerless gloves. 

Anyone who may have seen Connor since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2969 of 21/01/25..
